Three Decades of Doing One Thing — and Doing It Right

Premier Rug Cleaning began with a simple belief: a hand-made rug deserves a hand-made cleaning. While most cleaning companies stretch themselves across ducts, tile, carpets, and upholstery, we chose to specialize. We built our business, our facility, and our team around one mission — preserving the rugs that make your house feel like home.

What started as a small family operation has grown into two full-service Illinois facilities serving Chicago, the North Shore, Lake County, and beyond. But our approach has never changed: we inspect every rug by hand, treat every stain individually, and hand-wash every fiber with the same care we would give a family heirloom.

No conveyor belts, no hidden chemicals. Every rug is submerged, groomed, and rinsed by human hands using fiber-safe soaps. It is slower, it is harder, and it is the only way to treat hand-knotted work.

Specialists, Not Generalists

We do not clean ducts. We do not clean grout. We clean rugs — Oriental, Persian, viscose, silk, wool, antique, and specialty. Every technician on our team is trained specifically in textile care.

Free Pickup & Delivery

Rolling a 9x12 wool rug into a sedan is no fun. We pick up at your door, wrap your rug for transport, take it to our plant, and bring it back clean. Throughout Chicago and the North Shore — free.

Rug Inspection First

Before any water hits your rug, we inspect fiber type, dyes, age, structural integrity, and existing damage. That intake informs the entire cleaning plan — and protects us both.

Pet Urine Done Right

Urine contamination cannot be surface-sprayed away — crystals bond to fibers. Our submersion treatment flushes contamination through the foundation and backing. The smell goes away. Permanently.
